Have you guys noticed? Many a times it becomes an arduous exercise to select what to blog on than to write the piece itself. I’m sure professional bloggers like jammy, sid take this very seriously. It’s like a PhD thesis or something, more than half the time is spent in looking for what to research on.

Coming to think of it, I’m not a very imaginative person. Like every Tom,<beep> and Harry most of my imagination is restrained to dreams. Having said that, How am I supposed to maintain a blog this way? I know I’ve spent a good amount of money getting a domain rather than sticking to free hosts. Now that’s one nagging feeling I tell you. You see I’m like many a worth-his-salt-truly-cheap Indian who is not just thrifty. We hate wasting our hard earned (oh come on.. that is another debate.. forget it…) money. So here I’m.

Man, a bloody lot of things seem to be happening around in here. Numero Uno, our very own Andhra Pradesh getting split into two states(don’t ask me if @chetan_bhagat had anything to do with it. Or wait may be #chetanblocks can stop it from happening). I don’t know why sane people would be involved in such a preposterous deal. Come on what are you even going to achieve with this division? Oh leave it, the question is rhetorical. Lets face it, lets divide AP into two. As we know Telangana region is already backward region except for Hyderabad. A.P is better of with cities like vizag, vijawada and many more. Under such situtations, AP for sure is not going to forgo its claim on Hyderabad as generations of money have been poured into the city to make it what it is now, so what Hyd becomes UT ? and what is telangana going to do with the rest of it. Many unanswered questions and for the state of disrest AP is in now, I’m glad my ancestors moved to Chennai long before.

Lately Google seems to be more active than they usually are. Just recently they do a major revamp of their homepage. Their anroid seems to be kicking off. They seem to have come up with ultimately cool google goggle. Now they seem to have launched url shortening service Goo.gl. Their searches go real time. They have encroached on twitter gadgets enabling twitter to be updated from feed burner. Okay wave isn’t doing that well. At least not in India. Google chromium doesn’t seem very enticing either. My main point here is Google seems to be in big time and are hoping to over throw Microsoft very soon. Case rested.

Financial Crisis. Yeah we heard of double slips and all the bull crap but seriously, no prediction seems to be of any use. It has gone into a monthly sinusoidal curve. As long as as people are employed and don’t do stupid things like these Dubai people do,we are fine. Oh yeah I sure do hope it becomes Nylonmumkong.

TBBT is getting more enticing by the day. If you havn’t watched it so far. Head to tvshack.net now..

That’s all folks !!!!

Warning – Spoiler Alert.

The much awaited movie of the year is finally out and for the all the hype that went about it, frankly kanthaswamy fails to deliver. Right from the very beginning the oddness of the movie starts setting in. Unfortunately both of vikrams and shreyas introduction seem to have very poorly made.

Vikrams introduction with super heroish dress and cock like sounds he makes, makes one go what-random-arbit-crap is this? .Shreyas introduction comes with a song, like a typical tamil movie, but this one seems to be a rather cheapish imitation of poompavai song from shivaji. Be warned the plagiarism starts here and makes it way till the end of the movie.

Most of the core ideas seem to come from other movies based on super-hero-robin-hood paradigm. It starts with huge sums of money looted from goons and corrupt politicians and given away to poor, the time tested concept used in various movies such as gentle man, shivaji etc. The heros side kick gang, which carries out this whole of operation and his contacts in all important places of intelligence knowledge et al. is essentially bunch of buddies from high school and college seems to have direct lift off from Ramana. In the later part vikram travels to mexico to loot money from a mega scale money smuggler and the sequences that follow seem sadly childish compared to the very realistic potrayl in ayan. There is also an added extra that money laundering is not done by any transfer of currency but by transfer of equivalent value of narcotics, this seem to have take roots from shivaji again.

There are also many logical errors in the movie which knowing its a tamil movie can’t be snickered much upon. For instance, the CBI office seems to be in splendor and grandeur of an investment bank and the mexico bank, which handels gazzillions of dollar, has an online fund transfer facility that is more trivial than my icici account is laughable.

The movie doesnt score well in other areas either. The editing especially is sub par with random things inserted at random places, making one truly irritated. Back ground score is again mostly beats. Some songs may be considered okay but their cinematography completely take the effect off.

On the cast side, vikram comes as a relieving goodness in the movie with a solid performance and looks which resemble the ones he had in ullasam,my fav of vikram’s. His manner and maturity seems to be high but he gets to normal by second half. Shreya saran may have shakira’ish hips that are wow-able in the first song, but its full fledged use in all the songs makes one bored. She exposes a lot of skin and her acting is as usual zilch. Prabhu seems to be taking stereo typical roles from chandramukhi and his acting doesnt feel different. Both ashish vidyarthi and mukesh tiwari fail to add any spice to the movie. Roles of y.g.mahendra and cbi ig are seriously next to nothing. Its time for vadivelu to quit his present genre of jokes and try something else as nobody is frankly any longer interested in seeing him beaten up. Mansoor ali khan is another serious irritating addition to the movie.

Only positive things to the movie are vikram’s first half of acting and some occasional bits like vikaram in female make up.Overall for some movie that was hyped so much, Kanthaswamy is so totally not worth it.

Rating 2/5

Verdict: As in NITT language — Very Well Tried

Sneha woke up to a bad head ache. Slipping on her sandals and treading her way to the wash, she tried to recall what had happened last night. Then it hit her. She cried “Oh my God!!!” and found herself unable to stand steady, slowly a massive seizure overcame her and she collapsed to the floor.

Stop.

East coast Road,Chennai. Vivek was doing a steady 100 kmph on his newly bought pulsar, drowned in thoughts. Project deadlines and pieces of gibberish code were scrolling on his mind. With a smile on his face, he thought about the life of being a software engineer. He turned the volume up on his I-pod, which played a song from Fanaa “mere haath me tera haath ho”.Then it him too. He smiled.

Stop.

Somewhere in some corner adjacent to Sneha’s house, a shrill wind blew. It carried with it a single piece of paper and deposited it in a slow moving stream of drain water. As the paper touched the surface, the pure whiteness of it gradually became polluted with blackness of water. Little did Sneha realise, how apt the situation is.

To be continued….

Every day brings with it a new dawn, a new revelation , a new perspective to life. True, life gets so dull and drab if the monotony isnt broken or with the general onset of smugness. I did undergo such a temporal phase for sometime now, but as the cloud clears, things evolve to form shapes.

I made some big decisions in life. Now dont ask me what they are , but to the least they would reduce the probabilities of movement in the next two years drastically. I stand in a point where there are opinions formed everywhere, but fortunately none are personal. Opinions, based on general environ which I may be a part there of. It takes real patience to understand what may merit and what merits form this opinion.

Being the indecisive butcher as I’m always, I was confused at first even later. In statistics, nothing is more important than selecting the right sample. The skewness is very high, so people’s perceptions if put on a timeseries. Coming back to the point, making an informed decision generally isnt very correlated with peoples opinion here. So, what do I do? Rather, now that I have did something, what are the percieved consequences and its relation to actual consequences. Only time shall answer.

The reason for digression was that, infact the essence of the verbiage, I feel may have rooted the general somberness. Things do change fast, but as I mentioned, everything is temporal. I’m left with the feeling that, taken in the right sense small deltas have greater than one betas. So today as of now, I proclaim live every moment. Like getting drowned in fantabulous piece of music by the mastero rehman.

p.s : If you dint understand one single thing in the post, rest. It was rather uncoherent flow, primarily owing to the bad mood. :(
